Legend has it that among the sun-drenched alleys of Scicli, when the sea whispered its secrets to the hills, there lived a young woman known for her beauty and a mysterious tattoo etched upon her chest: a lotus flower. The woman never spoke of the symbol’s meaning. Some said it was a sign inherited from her mother; others whispered it was a magical seal, tied to a love long lost. Every night of the full moon, the woman would go to the Cave of Tears, a hidden hollow among the cliffs where it was said one could hear the voices of spirits. On one of those nights, the earth trembled and a blue light enveloped the young woman. When she emerged from the cave, she held in her hands a small object never seen before: a golden lotus flower, with a drop of crystalline light at its center, shining like the moon. It was her tattoo transformed into a real jewel. Some said it had been forged by the spirits themselves; others swore it was the heart of a fallen star. The woman disappeared, leaving no trace. But the pendant remained. It was found many years later by a goldsmith, hidden in a niche of the cave as if waiting for someone. The man, moved by such beauty, decided to name it “Incanto” and to cherish it as a gift of eternal love. Since then, “Incanto” has become a jewel. Those who wear it with a pure heart can still hear the woman's words today: “Not everything we love disappears. Some things transform into light.
